Biography
ARTIST: T.S. Carson
Since I was a child I have had the desire to to be an artist. I began young, working in pencil and pen & ink.
I actually started working in oils back in the mid-eighties because I loved the bold richness that oil paints provided. I am self taught, and through the process of trial and error learned to work in oils.
My commissioned paintings and drawings, for the most part, are portraits. I love creating portraits in oils as well as pencil. But I also enjoy landscapes, still lifes, abstracts and more.
While this website is focussed just on "Portraits", I do have another website (www.tscarson.com) that has many of my other types of paintings and pencil drawings as well as framed prints.
Hope you enjoy looking at both websites.
